Open Audio Meetup vol. 5 – Vult edition

Hey guys, we’re in for a treat!

I am happy to announce that at our next Open Audio Meetup our guest lecturer will be Leonardo Laguna Ruiz, the creator of the Vult domain specific language for DSP applications and the Vult modules (based on that language) for VCV Rack that were featured in our last Open Audio Meetup.

The talk will comprise a short introduction to the Vult language and an overview of it’s applications.

The compiler produces C++, Javascript and Lua. Each of the target languages can be used in different context like embedded applications, web audio, or audio plugins.

The talk will also include an overview of the aforementioned VCV Modules and the development process behind them.

After the talk there will be time for Q/A, discussions, maybe some demos and why not hook some things together and Jam a little bit.
